Privacy Policy

Effective: [LAUNCH DATE]

This policy explains what personal information Beyond the Screenshot collects, why, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have. Beyond the Screenshot is run by Bob Moore. Contact: support@beyondthescreenshot.com. Mailing address available on request.

1. What we collect

  • When you sign up for The Screenshot Reality Check: your first name and email address.

  • When you buy: your name, email address and the billing details the checkout asks for (for example, your country, state or ZIP code, which we also use to work out sales tax). Your card details go straight to our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

  • When you use the course: your login details and your course progress, such as which lessons you've opened.

  • When you email us: your email address and whatever you choose to tell us.

  • Automatically: like most websites, our pages and email tools record basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, and whether an email was opened or a link clicked.

2. How we use it

  • To send you the free Reality Check and the emails you signed up for

  • To process your payment, give you course access and deliver the First Offer Toolkit if you bought it

  • To answer your questions and process refunds

  • To send buyers occasional emails about the course and related, useful content (you can unsubscribe at any time)

  • To keep basic business and tax records, as the law requires

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.

3. Your email choices

Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and you're off the list. Emails about something you bought (your login, or your Toolkit link) are part of the service, so they still arrive.

4. Services that help us run Beyond the Screenshot

We use these companies to run the business. They process your information on our behalf and only for these purposes:

  • systeme.io: Hosts our web pages, checkout and course, and sends course login and Toolkit emails. Handles: Name, email, billing details, course progress, technical data.

  • Stripe: Processes card payments and refunds. Handles: Payment and billing details.

  • AWeber: Sends our email newsletter and the Reality Check emails. Handles: Name, email, email activity.

  • Make (make.com): Passes a buyer's name and email from systeme.io to AWeber automatically. Handles: Name, email, order details.

  • Hostinger: Hosts our support@beyondthescreenshot.com mailbox. Handles: Emails you send us.

Some of these companies are based in, or store data in, other countries, including the United States and the European Union. Each has its own privacy policy explaining how it protects your information.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights (for example, in a payment dispute).

5. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it:

  • Order and tax records (kept in systeme.io and Stripe): as long as we need them for legal, tax and accounting purposes, typically up to 7 years after the purchase.

  • Contact details on our email list (kept in AWeber): until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. After that they're removed within a reasonable period. We may keep a minimal record of your email address only so we can make sure you aren't emailed again.

  • Course account and progress (kept in systeme.io): while you have access to the course, or until you ask us to delete your account. Order records are then kept as described above.

  • Data passing through Make: Make only moves a buyer's details from systeme.io to AWeber. It doesn't keep them as a list, and its technical logs are deleted automatically on Make's own schedule.

  • Support emails (in our support mailbox): as long as they're useful for helping you, then deleted.

Stripe may also keep payment records for as long as its own legal obligations require, under its own privacy policy.

6. Cookies

Our pages use cookies that the site and checkout need to work, such as keeping you logged in to the course and remembering what's in your order. Our sign-up form and email tools may use similar technology to tell whether an email was opened. We don't use advertising or tracking pixels.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Email support@beyondthescreenshot.com and we'll reply within 1–2 business days, then complete your request as quickly as we can and within any time limit the law sets. Depending on where you live (for example, California, the UK or the EU), you may have extra rights under local law, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.

8. Children

Beyond the Screenshot is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll tell buyers and subscribers by email.
